COMMUNITIES ACROSS CANADA RECOGNIZE COMMUNITY SOCIAL SERVICE WORKERSSaskatchewan, Manitoba and cities all over the country proclaim November 6th as Community Social Service Workers Appreciation DayIn our second year for the November 6th, Community Social Service Workers Appreciation Day, we are reaching out to communities asking for an acknowledgement of the important work done by this sector. So far we've seen a terrific response from cities and towns across Canada. In addition to the western cities, many communities in Ontario have issued proclamations. On the east coast, Fredericton and Halifax have both issued proclamations; while Charlottetown and Moncton have endorsed the day and acknowledged the indispensable contributions of these workers. Below you will find links to official letters and proclamations.
